This is why I'm no longer Catholic. There...Yep. This is why I'm no longer Catholic. There really isn't a Catholic Church anymore. There are a couple of political parties that align themselves with one or another Catholic tenets, but there's no real universal Catholic Church. There are the internet Catholics, who have their own magesterium and saints, and there are the fertility cult Catholics and the pre-born baby worshipping Catholics, and the traditionalists and the social justice people and so forth, but there isn't really any such thing as a one, holy and apostolic Catholic Church these days. <br /><br />But God is so much bigger than all that stupid people stuff. God is really present in so many ways and everywhere you turn. Once you dial down the bickering and dickering and pontificating and holier-than-thou BS and this blogger and that blogger, you can't NOT run into God a thousand times a day. <br /><br />I'm glad this teenager was "denied" Confirmation (as if some silly little man can deny God to anyone, lol!).
